Saturday, July 11th, 2026. 6:00-7:30pm. Children's ministry will be available.
A 24-hour period of rest taken by the whole church family.
We’ll begin together at 6:00 PM with a special evening of worship, prayer, Scripture, and community as we launch into a 24-hour Sabbath. Rather than gathering again on Sunday morning, we’re inviting our entire church family to embrace a different rhythm for one day—a rhythm that reminds us that our worth is not found in what we produce, but in the God who loves us.
We invite you to celebrate your Sabbath together with us in these 4 ways:
1. Stop
For 24 hours, stop the normal pace of life. Step away from work, projects, emails, and the endless pressure to keep producing. Trust that God is at work even when you are not.
2. Rest
Give your body, mind, and soul permission to breathe. Sleep in if you need to. Sit on the deck with a coffee. Go for a walk. Take a nap. Let God restore what the week has drained.
3. Delight
Enjoy the good gifts God has placed in your life. Share a great meal with family or friends. Play a game. Spend time outdoors. Laugh together. Celebrate creation. Make memories. Sabbath is meant to be life-giving.
4. Worship
Our Sabbath begins together in worship on Saturday evening, but it doesn’t end there. Throughout the next 24 hours, keep your heart turned toward Jesus. Read Scripture. Pray. Listen to worship music. Reflect on God’s goodness. Give thanks for His faithfulness and simply enjoy being in His presence.
We hope that this won’t feel like another obligation on your calendar but like a gift from God. A chance to slow down, reconnect with those you love, and rediscover the peace that comes from trusting Him.
