Intentional and formational go hand in hand. The definition of Intentional is: done on purpose; deliberate. Bob Goff said “The thing I love about God is He intentionally guides people into failure.” Now before you freak out, we are not talking about sin here. The pathway to success is paved with a lot of failure. Failure is not who you are it’s simply what you did. To God’s its often about the process of formation in you, than about getting you quickly to victory. A quick victory never teaches us as much as a victory that blazed a pathway through failure.
THINK: Is there a failure that has been holding you back from being intentional? Do you need to painstakingly release it to God. I know that’s not easy, but that past failure has you boxed in. It’s keeping you from being intentional. Take a minute and name the failure that seems to taunt you? (Ask Holy Spirit to help you) Now take a deep breathe and let it go. As long as you hold onto it for redemption or a redo it will hold onto you and keep you from moving forward. Breathe deep and let it go. Now here is the hardest part. When it comes back to hold onto you, remind yourself you let that go, now lets think free until we feel free.

ACTIVATE: Today’s challenge is simple. Choose ONE thing you have been procrastinating or contemplating for ages and just do it.
Just do it. Simple, I know, but intentionality breed intentionality.
PRAY/COMMIT: To grow as a disciple in Spiritual formation you must be intentional.
“Lord help me to be intentional, humble, pliable and persistent, this will intern cause me to grow to be more like you. Ephesians 5: 15-16a “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time…”
